Literally only place in greater metro area that tickets you for tints and front plate, i guess they have nothing better to do with their lives
The Whitefish Bay Police department has been incredibly helpful to me and my family and our neighborhood on several different occasions dealing with a few different things. I have had only considerate, professional, helpful interactions with them, and I am thankful for their work.
It is frustrating when individuals who are supposed to be in a position to help and serve the public, blow you off and treat you as insignificant.
No, there was no immediate danger but drivers fly through this intersection every day without stopping. There is a school on one of the corners, not to mention a high number of cars that could have been hit by this driver (I did inform her that I had the make, model and license plate of the car and description of the driver).
The US police force is the most professional law enforcement force in the world, among them, is the Whitefish Bay PD. I have the highest respect to the men and women in this department. I called twice for non-emergence situations, they reacted swiftly, which convey how much they care this community. I did get a speeding ticket in Milwaukee city, but I think I asked for it and the police officer was just doing what he was supposed to do.
Best in area! Whitefish Bay police are friendly and work hard to keep the area as crime free as possible which is hard with what is going on in the bordering areas. Lived here for years and never had an issue.
Just called the non-emergency number to report a traffic violation, a car traveling at an excessively high speed & failed to stop at the stop sign traveling west on Henry Clay next to a school. The woman who answered the call brushed me off, stating that I had to make the complaint in person and when I inquired if I did in fact have the correct police district, she promptly informed me that she "had to go" and hung up.
