Great service here with Dan and his team. He set me up with a new K2 board, Ride boots, Burton bindings, Burton gloves and a Dakine bag for an upcoming trip. He was super helpful, fast, knowledgable and gave me some great tips on what to buy as I haven't been in the market for a board in a while. He suggested some great gear and I couldn't be happier. By the way, I drove 5 minutes up the rode and saved $20 on the exact same water bottle, and grips I was going to buy there.
I've had great experiences bringing my bikes to Erik's for service. I receive a great deal of education, because they are willing to explain to me what my options are so I can make informed decisions. An estimate is always provided in writing in advance. And, they have great parts. What more can a guy ask for from his local bike shop?
I went to Eriks to get Specialized insoles for my shoes . Dan helped me by using a device that tests your arch support so the insoles will be the best fit. I got the insoles and the ride home was great.

I went into Erik's today for a couple parts for my fat bike. After waiting for 25 minutes for someone to help me, a salesman finally says he had no idea how to help or answer my questions and walked me over to the service counter,(exactly where I had been standing for 25 minutes). After another 10 minutes of standing there watching the only apparent person that knows anything fixing someone's bike I realized I was not going to be helped anytime soon. As I walked out the door 3 yes 3 salesmen were standing behind registers talking with one another. Mind you these are not teenagers but 30-40 year old men who work in a bike store yet between the 3 of them they can't get me a simple shifter off the shelf in the back. And yes they all knew I was waiting and what I was waiting for but all they could keep saying was "sorry about the wait". After the horrible customer service, complete lack of knowledge by employees, and the obviously over priced items I felt it necessary to leave a review. I will not step foot in another Erik's again. And would advise anyone and everyone to stay away.
